not to be a dick but it looks you are gonna have to make those side or lock in pieces a little thicker they would snap right off. If you sell them and someone does snap it off well I don't need to be anymore of a kill joy. Sorry I just thought I should at least make this point | ||

How can you give a full refund for something you are not selling? If the price bothers you, stick to the stockers at something like $15 each, or get cheapo aftermarket ones. Being that you are one of the lucky few that has the tools, you have the option that you can make your own. What is the point of this post? You claim you aren't selling anything to avoid me deleting this thread on you, yet you say we can email you and work out the details? Then you go on talking about "how responsible business makes improvements to their product". Please tell me why I shouldn't delete this thread, it sounds like advertising to me. | ||

could be his warranty only covers new pegs replacement.details could mean design and shipping costs. i suggest they be able to hold a 300 pound weight each. always overbuild if at all possible.built in safety margin-- scott | ||

My suggestion would be 800 to 1000 pound static load at midway out on the peg. I also like overbuilding. However, I would limit the design strength to the available clamp force of the factory rearsets. I haven't run through the calculations, but you can easily determine how much force the stock rearsets and fasteners can handle. Any more than that and you're overbuilding and potentially creating issues in the event of a crash. FWIW, 800-1000 lbs could be the number...I'm just making a point, though. |
