I have heard the exact same thing & I have to ask this question...why the hell would anyone buy one then? Why spend the big $$$ & get something that Force wont warranty? I'd personally tell Johnny to shove his pipe up his ass.

I'm beginning to think the same thing Dyna... Especially now that there is another possibly comparable pipe on the market (the Becin).

I want to hear a sound clip from a Becin.

That Becin system does look pretty wild. Its alot of cashish though.

Heck Bubba could whip you up atleast 4 of them Drummers for the same price.

got a link to the becin?

hey prof, nice pic. I almost forgot what my bike looked like

when I bought the force, I hadn't heard about all the crap. a friend has it on his s1 and had not had any problems, until AFTER I bought mine, then his mount broke...

yeah, I was going to tell them to just send the thing back to me and I'll keep welding it when it breaks, or maybe weld it toghether when its on the bike, maybe it would fit better and not crack? I dont know.

yes, nallin doesn't make the pipe but I gave THEM ~1400 so you would think they would have some sort of interest in WTF is taking so long and maybe call them to at least find out and let people know. All they said was call force.

the more sunny days we are having up here the more I'm getting pissed. (as I look out the window and not a cloud in the sky) I feel I've been WAYYy more patient and understanding then any customer should have to EVER be..

Who were they?If it was NHRS,is any one surprised? You actually thought they would give you any money back on a defective exhaust they sold KNOWING its SHITTY TRACK RECORD?That would be the Right thing to do,but oh so costly. So you see,it all revolves around the almighty dollar.People still selling a product, knowing they are defective, but pawing it off on the manufacturer,to correct the problem. How about this suggestion,If the pipes are breaking how about not selling those pieces of shit, until the problem is corrected, and forget about all the money you wont be getting from NOT selling them.Thats the RIGHT THING TO DO,but OH SO COSTLY!

Gee Richieg150...Misato bought it back when Nallin was there. Seems Misato took the bike back while Nallin was still there. Now its owned by someone else. So before you go touting the difference between NAllin/NHRS maybe you should look at the timeline again.

Honestly it is not uncommon in the speed parts world to have that come up. NHRS/Nallin had to pay FORCE for the pipe. The warrenty is through FORCE. NHRS/Nallin is just the intermediary. This issue is with FORCE and needs to be resolved with FORCE.

If I was selling a part that I knew had a problem with breaking........should I still continue to sell that part KNOWING ?It doesnt matter WHO sold the pipe, the question is still the same.KNOWING there is a problem, and continueing to sell the product KNOWING this, then just saying its Forces fault?I will say again, let me sell a part for 1000$,KNOWING they break, then being able to pass the buck to the manufacturer......sign me up!

I wasnt slighting NHRS,or touting any difference then or now,I was just saying that they KNOW and KNEW there was a problem with the Force exhaust and still sold- sell them, for over 1000$ a pop, then just passed the buck to Force. No matter WHO or WAS in control,THATS JUST BAD BUSINESS,or maybe a LACK of INTEGRITY.Does anybody remember the word,INTEGRITY-"Firm adherence to a code of especially moral values."Or in other words doing what is right even if it hurts.Right is still right, and wrong is still wrong,PERIOD!

Just wanted to make sure you weren't singleing out the new owners is all. You made it a point to make sure people new Nallin wasn't there a few posts back then used strictly NRHS in your next post.

I am not going to disagree with your assesment of the sale of FORCE pipes. I was just pointing out that it isn't that uncommon a problem among aftermarket performance products. Especially things that are listed as "race".

So what exactly is it that is breaking on the FORCE...is it the header? the exhaust can? a pipe in between? what? Can you make do with the header and use another canister? I understand it is a system, but even systems can be altered.

I will give them a call this week as time allows. I have sooooo much to do and not enough time to get it all done. I'm hoping that by May at the very latest this will start getting resolved. Should I hold my breath??<-----Im already starting to turn blue!

I know the pipe shouldn`t have broken in the first place, but looking at the pictures it doesn`t look like a hard fix. Maybe 1/2hr with a welder and some reinforcements.

This sitting around for 6 months waiting to get your pipe fixed is total BS. I feel for you guys.

How do you tell if the one you have is the old or new design? I know a guy that got one before me and it looks a little different than mine. What breaks on them? You guys got me all worried now. Also if these things just break and my bikes gonna be out of commission for months at a time should I even bother with a custom map for this pipe?

dave @ force said something about the new style having a spring on the junction for the header/lower pipe. (like the becin maybe?)

just use the feracci map

I ran it for a day without the baffle.. HOLLY CRAP

for the record Richie.....

I am sure NRHS quit selling the pipe/pc combo as soon as they realized there was a problem......contrary to whatever you would like to believe....and Farce IS doing something about the problem, just taking their sweet ass time doing it.

It's amazing to me you have such a good grasp of what's going on here, without having bought the pipe, without having spoken to anyone at NRHS about a resolution, and based on your own "I'm an asshole so treat me like one" experience with Farce......

NRHS sold a product mfg by someone else, it has problems (understatement), mfg says send it back we are working on a correction, NRHS discontinues selling item til cure is out.......where's the lack of integrity there? NRHS has gone to great pains at significant cost to keep customers happy SINCE the owner/s changed.....on more than one occasion that I know of.

I will say this:

1. Farce is digging their own grave.

2. this reflects poorly on NRHS and they know it. I am certain that, were they to take care of Farce's fiduciary responsibilities it would put them out of business. which is something that not ONE of their customers wants.....rumor has it there are about thirty of these pipes out there....you do the math. NRHS should be on the phone with Farce daily if they aren't already. I for one don't expect anyone or any business to make a suicidal good will gesture on behalf of someone else or another business.

legally Farce is responsible
Farce has accepted responsibility
the ball is in their court and they are fumblefucking around simple as that.

Hell, yes I would like a resolution....... a great pipe again or a buyback. not unlike all of you out there that have had trouble with Farce in the past...I am expecting them to take care of it. They may throw the FU routine on this new batch of customer's as well......time will tell, and they are running out of it(as this thread seems to indicate).

impuning NRHS dissolves you of all credibility.

Yeah, I can't see that NRHS is responsible and who knows what the situation was with them continuing to sell them. Maybe they were being told by Farce quite convincingly that the pipes were not defective but that the pipe owners were... It seems that NRHS doesn't sell them anymore and won't until the problem is resolved. That sounds reasonable to me...

I've decided I'll end up going with the Becin or the one from the japanese site that was posted a couple days ago. I don't believe I'll be getting the "rainbow" coating though... I think the Becin is baffleless so I'll probably get the other.
