Got smoked at the drags by a guy on a Zuma(step thru scooter)!!!!!!!!!

Okay finish laughing at me and read on.........

It was dial in racing and he had like a 10 second head start for his estimated et.

My first ever day racing at a drag strip, in fact my first trip to a drag strip ever.

Question is how capable is my factory race kitted XB9S and how useless is the rider?

I got red lighted on my first run not really understanding how all the lights work.
no2-.565 reaction and et-8.289
no3-.542 reaction and et-8.236
no4-.650 reaction and et-8.532
no5-.471 reaction and et-8.414
no6-.232 reaction and et-8.443
no7-.673 reaction and et-8.779

I got a bit slower when i got more confident and wasted time with front wheel in air.

I think on run seven i just got rattled because I was waiting so long and his tail light was approaching the finish line.(the scooter)
On some runs I didn't change soon enough and hit the rev limiter a few times too.
The two girls that i ride with consistently got 7.5's on their suzuki bandit 1200's, they have raced a bit before though.

Anyone care to share their experiences or give me some tips. Am interested in 1/4 mile experiences and tips also.
