Will this mod work on my 2009 XB12? Will my headlight modulator (wired ti high beam)work the same?

I've done it to my '09 Uly and it works great.

The modulator should work normally. The high beam wire is untouched for this mod. You're only swapping the wires for the low beam and little auxiliary bulb (not sure what it's called)

BTW...

Another good free mod is shortening the front turn signals. (On Uly for sure)

1. remove wind screen
2. disconnect turn signals and unscrew
3. put the "spacer" on inside when reassembling.
4. done

I think it looks way better with shorter signals!

I did the short turn-signals when I was fooling with chopping off the cheez grater.

I simply used an extra set of rear signals.

Does anyone have a picture of the shortened turn signals? Thanks in advance!

I did the dual headlights so my HID wouldn't turn off when I switched to high beams, but now I don't need the highs!

Here is the best pic I have so far of the shortened signals. Looks much better than stock, IMO.

Wow, those short turn signals do look much better! How difficult is it to do that to the front and the rear signals? Thanks in advance!

So you can just shorten the stock turn signals? Is that what was done here? If so. Thats a great idea.

You can use rear signals, or cut and thread the front shafts, like this: (black is stock, red is the modification)

"Homemade" Black magic exhaust...

(not my pics, found on BadWeb about 1 year ago)

I bought a VooDoo muffler (slightly different than the one shown) and later, helped a buddy chop his pipe using the pictures show as a reference. A local muffler shop helped us out. I can't find the written insructions...sorry.

His pipe sounds great and cost about $50. I will not hesitate to make my own pipe next time.

We found all of the information on the BadWeb by searching...good luck!

(If you find it post it here!!!)

i like the idea of my exhaust being channeled all the way out with a tube.not liking the idea like stock too of dumping the exhaust into a larger area and then the pressure builds and forces it on out another unconnected tube.
just me is all.
