IAN, Call Hal's and see how much they would charge you to Dyno and tune the disc count.

This is interesting..
I have had a Jardine on my 03 XB9s since 2004, never had a problem with it.
My Question would be:
DO YOU HAVE A QUIET INSERT FITTED ??
YES or NO
As if you do, you will increase the back pressure, which would cause increased pressure on the rear rivits.
The Jardine was never intended for a end cap, this is all wrong.
NOTE to users whom have one..
TAKE IT OUT !!

no briz no quiet module just a complete piece of s&^%t and a company that refuses to stand behind the product they make, I work at a dealership and other dealers such as glendale harley davidson refuse to carry the jardine's because of similar problems, I realize in a mass production setting mistakes happen , thats just the nature of mass production. But when they do happpen step up and take care of it, dont hide behind chicken shit excuses like " you must have a tuning problem"

Mate, sorry to hear that...
JARDINE should have stood behind their product. A little good faith can go a long for Company Reputation, however by not doing so they have tarnished a Buell / Jardine combination.
Don't give up, get a supporting letter from an independent 3rd party. to backup your claim, then take it to the top at Jardine.
Some sales/claims people have no idea.
Talk to managers state and even the director.. you will get a win result.
As a last option, tell them you're giving the story to the papers.
So they either make good of their product or lose public support in the community.
Remind them of the Global Financial Crisis, and this isn't a time to make enemies.
All the best my friend...

Just had the same issue on my 1yo CF... caught it just in time though... where do I get the repacking for it?

I am thinking of just shortening it (can't use existing holes, half of them are gone...) and add twice as many rivets... any better idea welcome...

oh and I may just send my stock pipe to get a drummer too, just in case...
