I've read quite a few old posts on wind deflectors and heated grips. Couple of quick questions - sounds like the Buell wind deflectors are a little too low and don't work real well... any other aftermarket choices? Also, I've used Hot Grips and the Symtex (sp?) heated grip wraps on other bikes - both worked well with a few advantages/disadvantages either way. Looking at using Polly Grips but don't have any experience with them. One thing I learned with my first set (hot grips) was that the throttle tube provided some degree of insulation for the grip and the right grip was hotter. I fixed that with my grip wraps by adding several layers of large, heavy duty shrink wrap to the bar before installing the wrap. In the case of the Polly Grips, I would think neither grip would have an "advantage" since the heater element is in contact with the bar on both sides (maybe the right grip ends up less hot this time?). Anyone use them and notice this; and if so, is there a way to keep the temps relatively balanced? Also, where did you mount the switch? Thanks in advance.

I went to my local powersports shop and picked up a knock off brand of Hippohands. They seem to help a bit, plus they come off in seconds should I want to throw them on a different bike.

For heated grips I use the Buell kit.
