Anyone out there ever use Shinko tires on their bikes. I have found some pretty good deals on them and the one bike dealership close by carries them and says nothing but good stuff about them. Before I buy a set I would like to get a little bit of info on them. |

Shinko = Stinko Here is a recent review of them: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/402/116/Motorcycle-A rticle/Shinko-Stealth-Tire-Review.aspx Never tried them myself. I believe that only the best tires are good enough. Tires are the most important part on your bike. Saving a $100 on a $5000 to $10,000 bike seems to be like a false economy. If you use the bike for a lot of commuting, and are less concerned with handling, they might be a good idea. |

"don't knock it 'til you've rocked it" i'm running the 009 raven radials on my 9 front and rear. i like em and have had no traction issues with them. i see alot to ricers with them, but have only found a few on buells (here on badweb, not in person). they should out last my previous pirelli judging by the first few thousand miles wear (Message edited by nillaice on January 24, 2010) |
