Guess it's been sitting at Bellmore Harley since I traded it in over a year ago... it's still looking for a good home.

In addition to what the listing states, it has a custom paint job by Cycle Delics, the frame is autographed by Erik Buell, and all of the black plastic parts were replaced by carbon fiber from Trojan and American Sport Bike.

It was a great bike and only the 1125R could make me part with it. Hope it finds a good home.

Wow... that was fast... they added the additional information, but misspelled Erik's name.

I can tell why its been sitting, that BIN price is high. I picked up my 06 SS with half the miles for much less two years ago. It still is a pretty bike.

It's been sitting over a year. I'm sure the price will come down. Gotta make room for ALL THOSE HARLEYS they're gonna be selling, right?

I just reread that ad... they didn't REALLY mount Dunlops on that thing, did they??? The Pirelli's I had on it when I traded it in were in fine shape. Unless they dry-rotted sitting in the dealership...

Funny seeing that isn't it...

That happened to me with a pick up I traded in a few years ago. I saw it sitting at a private dealer on the opposite side of town from where I traded it in. They had a list of custom additions/mods "they" added. I pulled in and asked about the truck. The salesman and I walked up to it and thats when I saw the list on the window. Before he could open the door I said...does it still have the cigar burn under the center console? Guy's jaw hit the grown...

Four hours left... doesn't look like anyone wants Ferris, at least not at the asking price. Surprised no one even entered an offer?

I found an old Honda XL175 on Craigslist that I had sold over 20 years ago, as soon as I saw the picture I knew it was the one I had (I had painted and changed fenders etc on it) when I emailed the guy selling he he wrote back saying, yep the title that he had (never registered it) had my name on it..

small world out there..

Looks like they just relisted it, but at the same price. Wouldn't it make sense that if they couldn't sell it at that price, they'd repost at a lower one??

Nope. Hell even one Badwebber is selling his Uly, and is raising the price every few weeks. Yet he sits back and wonders why he has no bites.

And the repost still says it has Dunlop tires (only if they replaced the perfectly good Pirellis it had on it) and they fail to mention the custom paint, carbon fiber, and Erik Buell's personal signature on the frame. Dopes.

They probably have a non-bike person doing the listings. He just takes a quick photo, grabs the specs off buell.com and then throws it up with KBB price plus a few grand. The bike could of been run over by a truck and they wouldn't of known the difference.

Someone should call them and ask why they mounted Dunlop tires on that bike. I can't... they know me.

I know when I traded it in, it had the OEM Pirellis, and they were in fairly decent shape too. Unless it's just an error and the person who made the ad doesn't know what he's talking about.

Looks like the same cut and pasted spec sheet, so they probably didn't notice.

well that bike is overpriced. and almost 26,000 miles on it. my 2008 lightning has less than 5,000 miles on it and i owe three hundred dollars less than the price of this bike. capitalism is strange.

I'm getting tempted to put in a lowball offer of $4,000 to see if they'd sell it at that price. I have to check my sales receipt for the 1125R to see how much they gave me for it in trade.

you should since it is your baby anyway, I mean in the way of the fact that you put all of the work into that bike in the first place so you know that bike better than any one

eBay listing ended. Doesn't look like it sold (yet) but it hasn't been relisted either. No way to tell how it's doing on Craigslist, is there?
