Episode 815 the Fueller

Small intro video to watch. Episode took a new Firebolt and striped to nothing and used as much as possible to create a chopper. They even used the front end brakes and all. They even mentioned selling all the left over parts on Ebay....Sad

Morons didn't even spell Buell right.

Some things just shouldn't be done, and desecrating a beautiful XB is #1 on my list.

Brand new!!?? Why...if they wanted to do it, not just take an older wrecked model and have at it? I understand not every Buell will be brought back to life, but a brand spanking new model!!???

Yeah....also like that he's not wearing a helmet. I understand it's everybody's choice (at least in some states), but it only took me one time to realize that it was a very good thing to have on your side. Hell, even if it's just to keep the large bugs from smacking your face!

That just p*sses me off.... take a perfectly good bike and turn it into another barely rideable POS with a fat tire. We were just talking about a wrecked 1125R in another thread, they could pick that up on ebay for a grand or two.

I forget sometimes when I come to badweb a stock bike is the only bike worth a sh1t.

If this makes you sick I hope to god you have never modified anything in your life.

I have rode with Brian in the N GA mountains and he was rocking the snot out of the original Fueller.

The bike was a gift from a local dealer for publicity, and not the only one Brian has chopped.

I still have the frame from that bike in my barn, wiring harness and some other misc parts.

Brian is a cool cat with some great ideas, custom is what he does.

New12, there are ten different ways to accomplish what these guys did. What we are saying is that taking a brand new XB and doing it was not in good taste. A perfectly good limited number dis-continued bike for that matter.

I for one love customs, choppers baggers, heck, all two wheeled things. And yes I have heavily modified my XBs to make them better "Buells", and not mangled them into something completely different.

on a past show he took his own yellow xb12r and painted it flat black..why did he not use the old bike to tear apart and keep that nice new bike? i think it cool when its done to a crashed or beat up bike, but i was watching and saying ..no..dont do it..and i need that part..i wish i could have traded them my bike!

Modded bikes are cool too, but just ruining a new one was poor taste, and I think the Fueller pic is great EXECEPT it says FULLER.

I think it just throws people off when a sport bike is made into a chopper. its just more common to see it with a Buell because its a V twin.

so in response I'm gonna chop out a CBR1000RR!!! or maybe go bobber with it!!

I hope you like it!

I'd love to see your reactions if you had a bike you wanted to toy with and everyone got indignant because you just wanted it for parts. His bike, he can do with it as he damn well pleases. If I had a Viper and I wanted to slap a pickup bed on it, it's no one's business but mine.

The Fueller, in case you're seeing too much red to take it all in, is one of the slickest choppers out there. That's not a fat tire. It's tall, which is pretty unusual. And Bryan is fully aware how to spell... you'd know that if you actually visited the Fuller Hot Rods website. Why don't you call up the TVMechanic.com webmaster and go all spelling nazi on him if you wanna get your panties in a wad over it.

If anything ever happens to my bike and the engine is still viable, I have every intention of converting its remnants into a Fueller. I think it'd be awesome with a different set of bars and mid controls.

WOW, We are not praising the fine work(Buell dissection)done and some just can't seem to handle it. When did your skin become paper thin? Just wondering. Criticism is a big part of the customizing game, deal with it. Yea, if you put a bed on a Viper I'd think it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen, and would probably voice my opinion as such. That's just MY opinion, again, deal with it.

And on the spelling of Buell, did any of us say Bryan? HUH, No. I stated that some unspecified moron spelled the name incorrectly.

Now, is it a nice chopper yes. Was the bike that donated the parts nicer then the chopper, YES. MY OPINION!! Deal with it.

Deal with it? I'm not the one whining about the bike.

All the "how dare he" coupled with the spelling thing just hit me the wrong way yesterday. Gets old.

So what, its not like a xb is a rare bike. Had he chopped something like a rr1200 it would be different.

I think they did a fine job myself.

It does hurt me a little to see all these XBs being stripped and used to build some eye candy bar hopper, I'd much rather see them on the track winning races. But I do think that bike is bad ass and a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I've never met him, but I've heard many times that he is an awesome dude. He even had an open garage party at his shop in Atlanta last Friday, I missed it because I was at my own garage party racing karts.

If there are that many, what makes you think it's over? (sorry, playin' devil's advocate) Choppers have been around pretty much from the beginning. I don't think you can call it a fad. Snap bracelets and wearing 5 watches at a time, those were fads. "Choppers" just wax and wane in the public eye.

I think what is offensive to people here who obviously love their Buell and the Buell's handling is that you would take an uncrashed, aluminum framed technological wonder and rip its heart out and put it in something that compared to the original handles like a shopping cart with stuck wheel. For those that don't understand, Doing this to a limited number bike is like taking a perfectly good Ferrari ripping its engine out and putting it into your Caprice classic, which is so far removed from its original intent it in itself is offensive and in poor taste. Go rip apart a Sportster or a Busa or whatever leave these masterpieces alone. You will regret it years from now.

Limited number, The Kool Aid is getting strong.

Give me a break. This bike remained mostly unchanged for what? 7 years.... Show me another bike that lasted 7 years with the same frame/swingarm/engine combo.

The parts that were not used went to someone who prolly crashed and needed those parts anyway.

And someone PLEASE tell me how you KNOW these bikes handle like crap, I am sure YOU have not rode them.

136,923 Buells ever made,so compared to all the rice burners, If you see maybe 2 on the road riding, is you and 1 other guy, if that, vs all the look alike R6's and Busas with the same old chrome frame and extended swing arm, BUELL handling world class bike with character. Honda Kawi Yama all have like 1 bike coming off the line every 30seconds. You tell me a raked out chopper handles better than ANY BUELL and you better stop smoking that Kool Aid. Of the bikes owed and ridden, my personal low down, Busa don't change direction,(no exclusivity and crappy resale add this to all except the 1000rr) , 1000RR Wonderful super-bike, no soul does everything too well, R6 tries too hard ,a moped that says don't lean me too much, suzi 750 great underated bike, too front heavy for my taste. Fun to ride Buell all the way.

Thank you LUXOR, Lots of customs and choppers are just eye candy, more art than function. I'd ride my Buell with its dependability to the ends of the earth in comfort style and exclusivity. You break your back on a custom, Especially a rigid frame like the FULLER. You show me a fool that'll ride that thing for 500 miles straight and I'll show you a man with his balls ping-ponged up to his kidneys. ahahahaha oh heeeeheeee your Balls -> oh hahaha I gotta laugh at these newjacks hahahah
