Possible, but not likely. Assuming a hardware or wiring problem does not exist... I had a TFI on my '06 Uly for 2 years and could never detect (seat of the pants) any difference in running. With or without ECM Spy mapping.   Coastierider Posted on Thursday, January 21, 2010 - 05:45 pm:        I removed the dobeck tfi and replaced the straight pipe with the jardine, ( the straight pipe fell off goin down the highway..ooops!!!) Fuel maps & timing are same on my '04 XB12 @ front & rear cylinder. It has stock fuel injection system: one 02 sensor @ rear cylinder.
