Warranty will cover it. Doesn't look too bad yet though. Just curious, do you let it warm up before you ride it, or do you get on and go? |

Clean it off with some contact spray or equivalent and then see if it returns. It may just be nothing to worry about. |

I have not washed it in like a month or more. Yes I warm it up. I think It will be OK at this point. I can't justify splitting the cases for such a small leak. I would be taking the chance to get something fixed and latter have other problems. Just wanted some of you guys that have seen some similar conditions, comment about it. I will take another look soon when I change the oil. |

mine has a bit of that, I thought it was just part of the Harley engineering. |

My bike actually sprung a leak in the middle of the oil pump assembly casting. Apparently, there was porosity in the casting that was enough to allow oil to bleed through when under pressure. Warranty fixed it for free and the dealership was very apologetic about selling me a brand new bike with an oil leak. |

Looks like one may be coming from the pushrod cover. Ulynut's question is important. I was running mine hard at the track before fully warm (on warm up laps my 9 is full throttle to keep from getting rear ended). I got a base gasket leak on the rear cylinder. Have been more diligent warming up since then, and have not had a problem. |
