Hey, I'm swapping my jardine to a d&d and I'm trying to figure out how the mounting brackets work. I'm wondering if you use the stock mounting brackets for the under fairing or if you take them off and how the "hose clam" works as far as where its mounted to on the frame. Any help or pics please |

From stock can to D&D you leave the front hose clamp and bracket on the exhaust, the d&d has a tab that bolts right to the motor (with isolator washers) and then in the back you use the two hose clamps into the half moon shaped bracket that the oil lines run through. the brackets on the side are for the chin spoiler. |

I just realized that when the previouse owner put on the jardine he had to take off all of the mounting brackets for the mouffler....does anyone know what brackets I need to get the d&d to fit on right |

What year and model of bike? I think the half moon might be the same for pretty much all years. WHat I do know is that the oil line routing is very much different between the 03 and later years. I think the half moon for my 03 9R was around $66 new, plus the bolts and clamps, was going to be around $120 for all the parts including a new front mount which also gets removed for a Jardine. Go haunt the for sale section and see if someone can help you, put my stock muffler back on for around $50 when all was said and done. If it is all the same parts, I have them listed on Liberty's price request thread probably many pages back by now and that is with the diagram for my machine. Might help, might not.
