How much does the V bracket vibrate when the engine is running? This is the bracket that the voltage regulator and oil cooler bolt to the bike. From the service manual it looks like it is rigidly attached to the frame in three places but it is hard to tell. If it is rigid to the frame I want to try mounting a camera to it. If it floats with the paint shaker engine then this of course will be a bad place for a camera.

Thanks

The Bracket is called the W bracket. It mounts to 3 tabs on the frame and one lower tie bar to the engine. The bracket vibrations are transfered through the tie bar.

Depending on our camera, its worth a test. I mounted mine to the gas tank with a suction cup bracket for a gps unit. (it survived geals gap)

My book called it the V bracket even though it only sort of looks like a V from the front.
