The ergonomics are identical on all XB-S variants, other than different seat heights. The extra 2" come in from a longer swingarm, and different trees to increase rake.

Thanks Froggy,
So then why do some taller people say the Ss is more comfortable for them? Is it purely the distance from the seat to the ground that they are talking about? I thought the longer frame was supposed to be better for the actual riding part and also if you carry 2 up so your passenger can have more room.

There is a little more leg room on the frame, so those with longer legs tend to be more comfortable than a standard S model. Also the seat is a little bigger so you have more room to move around.

Thanks Froggy but I don't get where the extra leg room is coming from if the swingarm is the extra length since the pegs and seat are not affected by that. Not trying to be a wiseguy, just still don't get it.

The SS/STT/X/XT/XP use a different, larger frame than the S/SX/SL/SCG/R. Also the stock seat on the SS is 1" higher than the seat on the S, so that also will grant a little more room. : )

Coming from a 6'2 6'3-ish rider, I look like a guy on a pocketbike when I'm on my XB12SCG. Like my knees literally touch the part of the fuel frame where it starts to point out where the frame pucks go. When I first got it I used to have to stretch before I rode or else I would get these bad charlie horses in my thighs and calfs.

I am considering changing the molded-in color bodywork of a 2010 XB12XT from red to black (4 pieces). What parts do I need and where do I go to get the best price for them?

Stevewauk,
You might get better response if you start a new thread since this one is not on the same topic as you are going towards.

Do you guys think there will be modified ECM programs available for 09 and 10s or will that stuff stop since Buells are stopped? Thanks.

Yes eventually. I keep reading conflicting info on various tuning programs and 2009/10 support, so I feel once all the kinks are ironed out it will be good.

Cool, where would it be or I should say where will you be able to buy that stuff? Are there usually more than one source for that kind of thing? Thanks.
