Hello everyone

My bike is a XB9SX... There is a strange cover on right switcher.

Can anybody say me what is it? I suppose some switcher has to be here on XB12SS or Uly as on left switcher which is responsible for blinkers. What does it need on them for?
Can anybody take a pic of it and put it here for me : )
And finally it would be cool if anybody say me the part number of switcher that may be here.

Ok. Cool. Next...
May anybody know the part number of the switcher that is included into Heated grips kit (probably) instead of the cover?

The heated grip kit includes the whole switch pod. I don't think you can just swap that individual switch. American Sport Bike carries the switch pod for heated grips.

I don't think you can get just the switch. They used a universal housing and used the block off plate for the units without a switch.

I'd be interested if you find one.

The kit comes complete with heated grips, throttle housing, wiring and switch.

Yea that spot has been blank on all pre 2008 models. On 2008+ Uly's, its the heated grips switch. There is no switch to just put in there, the whole assembly is different.

Well.. It is not good as I want. I do not want to buy whole heated kit for the sake of switcher. : (

You don't need the whole heated kit. You can get just the switch pod. American Sport Bike sells it at the link froggy provided.

: ) I have seen the switch pod from Froggy's link... I meant I am not going to buy a whole switch pod for the sake of switcher.

I will try to find a switcher that can be fitted in the shop of Electronic components in my city.

I thought about that after I posted it. As a courtesy I avoid using slang and other expressions on your threads. Anyway, according to an online dictionary

quote:

Fig. to give away a secret or a surprise. There is a surprise party for Heidi on Wednesday. Please don't spill the beans.

I saw another poster on here that was working on some kind of switch exactly where you want it, and he hasn't posted the details yet. So when he "spills the beans", I will make sure you know : )

To 'spill the beans' basically means to open thy mouth. Like if person A knows something person B doesn't, then sometimes person B will tell person A to 'spill the beans' or divulge their information. I was going to post this in Russian, I had my girlfriend translate it from english to Russian but then I found out you can't use some of the Russian alphabet on here.
