Hello gentlemen,

I ran into a little issue putting the motor back in my 06 XB12R. The manual I have is for an 04 and I know there weren't that many changes, but one of the changes that there were, were the oil line from the swingarm. There are 2 on the top that run on the belt side and it looks to me like there is very little room to run them between the swingarm and motor, running them on the bottom doesn't seem like it will work either. I could be wrong, but I was wondering if anyone has a diagram or a picture of how these are run. It is my fault for not taking notes before disassembly, but any help would be greatly appreciated. This project has been in the works for quite some time and I keep hitting walls and am ready to fire this sucker up!! I can taste the exhaust fumes already!!

I'm interested in this too as I'm swapping a newer swingarm onto my 04.

The two oil lines run right behind the front sprocket. They are retained by a 2 piece black plastic clip that screws into engine block.

There is only one oil line that runs on the bottom and crosses over the muffler to the swingarm.

I'm looking for the page from the manual though. They are supposed to be in specific places. It shows where they are supposed to be within like a 1/4 inch so there is no interference with the suspension travel.

But they are on top of the swingarm. SO do they run between the motor and swingarm pivot, then come back up? Really wished I had taken a pic before, but this is what hurry gets me! I will look for the plastic piece and try to run them, but I want to make sure at this point that I run them right. It is a pin to have to drain oil and redo them if they are pinched or run wrong.
