I ordered o-rings for an XB we are working on and they have the correct part number for the lower o-ring but are obviously incorrect. Too big of an inside dia and too skinny in size. But that is what book shows and I have 3 sets now--all the wrong size. Top and bottom show different numbers and the top ones I got are correct. I checked a second XB that was apart and both bikes have the same lower o-rings--and not the one I have new from the dealer. Anyone run into this before??

I have!! It seems buell doesnt have their numbers correct for them. I think that I sourced the lower o-ring from an industrial supplier by dimensions and material when I needed them.

I got to the bottom--sorta. Had an X-1 injector and the o-ring with the part number for an XB--seems it was a match. Took everything to the dealer and we looked up the part number for an X-1. It was an old number and when we put it in the computer it superceded to ---drumroll--- the same part number as an XB!! Even though there is no way they could be the same. The X-1 injector has a much bigger nozzle end than anXB injector. Spent about 20 minutes on phone with customer service. They took the problem to Buell engineers and promised to call within 24 hours.

Sorry Jim...I thought I could chase this down for you...the numbers you have are proprietary...the two FI suppliers I know can't do anything with it....I tried my friend.

Some of the injectors say Ford on them per local HD dealer. I got a set at the local hardware and works fine spent less than a dollar. New o rings from Buell were $10.00 each, used to be about a buck. Dealer was surprised also!

My injectors, on the NineR, have this stamped on them:

My AIT is out of a Mustang and my 02 sensor is out of a 92 chevy pick-up. I have had to buy them @ auto zone.

The plugs on the injectors of my 9R have FORD on them too, makes me think there are FORD spec injectors and can probably get the orings anywhere that ford parts are sold. ANyone have an idea which ford these injectors are out of?
