Hello all,

I just got a 2008 STT. As I was washing it today, I noticed an approximately 1/2" thick rubber line that has a hole in it because it was pressed against the header.

The line starts at a fitting that is located atop the transmission, just behind where the two cylinders come together. The line appears to go up to somewhere under the seat.

What is this line? I'm trying to figure out whether I need to get it fixed immediately before riding it at all, or whether I can wait a few weeks. It's under warranty - I've only got 300 miles on the bike.

Thanks. I sort of suspected it might be that, but in my manual it looked a bit different, so I wasn't sure. Can water get into the tranny through this hole in the hose? I just washed it so I'm wondering if water could get in there. Seems like it could.
