My '08 STT has an electrical connector that sits right beside the fuse box on the drive belt side under the seat. It's not plugged into anything, but does have a cap that fits over it. Looks like a plug with 4 connections could plug into it. What is this thing? I'm hoping maybe I can use it to power an extra set of lights or something.

That's where you plug in to check on a check engine light. I'm sure someone will respond with the actual name of it...

Thats the diagnostic connector. It is used for hooking into the ECM.

There is a 2 pin connector under your flyscreen you can tap into for lights.

I figured it might possibly be some diagnostic thing. Had no idea about the 2 pin connector though. Thanks!
