Sport Rider Magazine has a good article on these 2 bikes that everyone should check out. I think that this is just another punch in the face to Erik knowing he has a great machine. Someone has to BUY Buell from HD

Yep I read that article this morning. It's strange how after such a good writeup praising the CR as being a better bike in almost every functional aspect, the summary looks like a tossup between the two because the author doesn't like the way the CR looks.. I don't get it. Both the CR and Streetfighter have love it or hate it type looks IMO. I happen to like the look of both bikes.

It is a good piece anyway. Nice to see the CR proving itself against the $3000 higher priced Duc.

Yeah I just did not get the Brake issue with the CR i was impressed with the braking when I drove the CR but I have never driven a Ducati or anything other than Buell actually so I do not have anything to compare to

I can tell you this IMHO the XB is a way better bike than the MOTARD ducati as well. This summer I ran with 2 of them and crushed them at every turn and I was about even in the straights they were not very long straights though so who knows. The 848 and 999 that were there were much faster than my XB the riders were excellent and I could not compete with the machines as I am quite portly and not the best rider out there.I would like the chance torun my CR against those machines but I am not really comfortable enough to do the mad rides yet.

love my xb
i guess first and foremost ita a sweet handling chassis.if it could have been re done or refined with a rotax mill.....wow
perhaps someone gifted LOL can start upgrading the air cooled xb's ?i'd be all over that !!

On Looks???

Damn, the Buell is pure, the Duck is stylized.

Oh, I forgot, this is a bike writer, pure fad is the incentive. Foolish me for thinking they could look at a bike as a well designed motorcycle first and foremost.
