Is there a way to get the glass out g the XB*R mirrors without breaking the plastic or the glass? Even if I heat the plastic so hot I can barely touch it I can't flex it far enough to get the glass out. Id like to put some of that dead space inside the mirrors to use.

heard that xbr mirrors (and 1125 ones too) share a bolt pattern (spread and gauge) with some import sport bikes from one of the Japanese makers...as far as I know the only way to get the mirrors out is to break them and then put in new mirror glass when the mod is done..sorry I cant remember which bike maker though...all I remember is we share pegs with 'busas and Gladius' made by suzuki and that they use the xbs pegs to lower foot position...and lever are 99-01 gsxrs or r1s. Someone correct me if I am not remembering correctly though.

cheers
