Does anyone have these lights on their Lightning? If so can you post pics and what you got them? I want some but not sure what e-bay ones look like.

I understand these on cars for when the headlights are off but with the lights always being on with motorcycles you wouldn't even be able to tell it's there. Just my opinion but its money and time spent on something you won't even be able to tell that it's done.

Actually I planned on having my headlights off during the day and just running the eyes, and then at night I got HID lowbeam. I never use the high beam anyway.

Would the eyes be bright enough to classify them as daytime lights so you would be legal? I think the law in NY states that you must have the headlight on, but I wonder if you had a smaller lamp in each housing that would light them up would be legal. Like the European "city" lights that must be used in some areas at night. The streets are lighted enough that headlights are no longer legal in those areas, but you still need something to light up the fixtures like a daytime running light.

If you hear of an oafish-all statement on angel eyes during the day, I might do this to my machine too.

Nope. I don't give a rats ass either, wouldn't be the first time I drove around for 4 months in the winter with no lights and signals.

Just from a safety standpoint I wouldn't want to turn the headlight off. I want to be seen as much as possible!!

I am not sure that all bikes have it but my Buell lightning XB9SX has a special lamp between two headlamps for "Parking mode". When I turn key into "P" mode that lamp lights on and it works only "P" mode. So it is a good idea to replace that lamp with angel eyes style lamps. On one side the angels eyes will work only "P" mode but on another side you do not change standard working of headlight.
Also I found how to make Angel eyes in home environment. It is easy. : )
Look at here:

Froggy. It is my winter plan too : )

Also does anybody know the box of headlights can be disassembled or it is as one-part?

The headlight housing is one piece. Hi and low beam use the same bulbs, the angle of the Hi beam side's reflector is aimed higher.
