I just bought an Open Airbox mod from American sportbike for my 2006 XB12 but do not know what to do with the exaust valve cable that currently sits on top of my stock airbox. Has anyone done this mod and if so where to do you put this cable? I still have the stock exaust and ECU, so for now I would like to keep it. I heard that if I take it off the bike will not run good.
