I may have to wear my dad's chaps. Ha!

No money to go and buy a pair of leathers right now. Maybe I'll double up on the long johns.

What is your cold-weather riding gear?

My cold weather gear is the same as my warm weather gear. Aerostitch 1 piece suit. Actually, in the winter I use a heated jacket liner and gloves, but during the summer I use non heated gloves. Tested down into single digit temperatures all the way up to triple digits. : )

Under armour compression shorts, under armour (knock off) compression leggings, jeans, Buell Adventure pants.

Nike cold base layer mock long sleeves, long sleeves tee, under armour (knock off) compression long sleeves, ski type turtleneck, light sweater, high neck vest, leather jacket with liner,

socks, sidi boots.

gloves (liner on way home)

full face KBC helmet (sometimes liner)

good for highway speeds when the windchill just standing is below 0°C

not so good for checking traffic at edge of blind spot in city traffic

good for a lot of laughs when emerg personnel try to undress you.

LoL at ArchAngel's last comment

-Long sleeve shirt, heavy sweatshirt, regular leather riding jacket
-Fuzzy fleece neck liner scarf thing tucked into jacket and up into helmet
-Thin fuzzy gloves, Castle winter riding gloves
-Pajama pants, jeans, leather chaps
-2 pairs of socks, normal riding boots

This combo is good at highway speeds down to about 15-20 degrees not counting windchill. And before anybody calls bull that my outfit not is good down to that cold, keep in mind I live in North Dakota and my blood is twice as thick as 70% of most other Americans because of it

I have winter running pants (tights) that are very tight and warm, then long johns go over them, then my quilted-liner lined textile pants.

Under Armour (type) cold weather gear tight long sleeve shirt, with a thicker long john type material long sleeve shirt over that. Then a heated vest under the lined thick textile coat.

THICK socks with normal boots. Heated boot insoles.

Thick fleece neck thing with helmet liner (balaclava?) under the full face helmet.

I DON'T have good gloves. I just use my summer gloves with the heated grips, but I'm not happy with that below forty.

Other than the gloves I'm good down to zero.
