So in my Box o' Buell I found the pushrod covers (plastic). Of course one is cracked. I don't know if it is front or rear. Is there an easy way to ID them?

Are they different? I've never looked that closely...

I think they have different part numbers.

Is there any part numbers written on them? I can reverse engineer it.

17979-02 COVER, push rod, rear
17986-00Y COVER, push rod, front

From a 03 XB9 book. They are $15 each, might as well order both for the hell of it.

Froggy,
Chris from Liberty helped me come up with a system to id them using the angles they make on a table. I don't want to just throw $15+ NJ tax around. That is about 200 miles of enjoyment in fuel!
