Is it possible to put a Firebolt sub-frame on a Uly? Has anyone ever done this? If so can you please post some pictures.

lol, you have the bug now...
Anything is possible with the right tools.
You need to look at mine and see how it would all fit together. Shouldn't be too hard.

About how much modification needs to be done for it to work?

I recall that the spacing between the mounts where the subframe connects to the frame is different, so a bracket would need to be made. After that, its a matter of rearranging the wiring and bolting it on.

Oh sweetfish, I haven't seen it for a while but there was a Uly on ebay with both front and rear Firebolt bits. Not my cup of tea.

I don't know but that little CityX at independence is looking very tempting right about now...
And things as they are it should be very cheap.

Call me Tue after work about your plugs.

Yeah I like that CityX also. I would say those new 1125Rs where going for like $7000 at the track. Ok will do.

Good! I really like the shortness on them.

The question that's been bugging me is how hard would it be to get a Uly tail onto a City X. I know you'd need a new undertail, but what kind of bracketing would be needed to attach the sub frame? How different are they? Too different to attempt? Now that Buell is folded, I'm considering trying to make the only (that I've heard of) XB9X

Same exact situation as the firebolt. 2 of the 4 mounting holes don't line up, so you would need to make a bracket for that. Oh, and I believe it was Chrisrodgers that turned a CityX into a Uly, at least everything short of a tail section swap.

Problems I had with the conversion Uly to Uly with "S-Tail".
think they are the same with "R-Tailsection" plus less Space for ECM and Fusebox...

I changed to "S-Front"
used the whiring form the "SS"
build an Adapter for the Mountingpoints.
