What's the Buell with the lowest seat height other than the Blast? With prices what they are might try to find one for the wife. Problem is she tops out at 5'0".

Height's not so important, what's her inseam measurement? I have a 30" inseam and ride a Uly with a 3.2" higher seat. As long as her inseam is ~27" I think she can do it.

Missin44, I am picking up a XB12Scg for the GF tomorrow (she is 5'2") she is not flat footed on the bike and I am thinking we need lower it another 2 inches. I do not know if I will be able to do it or not but will try.

Dunno if this is helpful or not, but I'm 5'8" (unsure of inseam) and am comfortable on the XT's 32.9" seat height. I can touch both feet tip-toed, which is good enough.

My way of thinking is that I'll be spending < 0.01% of my in-seat time with my feet down, so whether or not I can flat-foot it isn't very high on the priority list.

Consider the shape and width of the seat along with seat height. My X1 and a friend's M2 both have 29.5 inch seat heights but we both agree that his M2 feels much taller, because the seat is wider.

Heading up to TN. in two weeks to pick up a scg for the wife she is 5'2" as well. The one we had before she was tippy toe, the daughter also road it as well and was tippy toe. You can try to change the seat or have the one modified to give it a little less height. Look around on the web there is a web site for short riders with all types of tips for riding.

I'm 5'3 28 inseam, and cannot get both shoes flat, but my scg is easy to handle, even with only one good foot (amputee).
judging by my little self, I think shorter than a 28 inseam would be difficult, unless the individual was athletic, and it is hard to lower an scg any more than it is, its short on ground clearance underneath already, and the low seat is about as low as your gonna get one, and still have enough padding to ride on the street.
