Since the air intake is near the top of the airbox should I be concerned about riding in the rain or having the bike sitting out in the rain? Does water that gets in drain out somewhere? | ||

Ok, I just rode in the worst storm I ever rode in and was forced to turn around when I realized my bike was better prepared for the rain then I was. I will prepare tomorrow. | ||

Yes Froggy I have and I got the goldfish bowl riding boots to prove it. and NO don't worry they run well in near hurricane conditions     | ||

If it wasn't for rainy days my bike would be dirty all year round. I actually really enjoy riding in the rain. I just don't like parking my bike out in the rain. I'm just weird like that | ||

You don't just get the name BadWeatherBiker, you earn it!  I have noticed something- when it is nice and sunny out there, all the bikes are out. 1 cloud in the sky- the Ducati guys go home. 2 clouds in the sky- the sportbike guys go home. Dark cloudy sky- the harley guys start scratching their beards and head home. When it is about to start raining- the BMW guys gather their gear and head out. I do the same  |
