Since the air intake is near the top of the airbox should I be concerned about riding in the rain or having the bike sitting out in the rain? Does water that gets in drain out somewhere?

It was the most common way for me to wash my XB12Ss. Never had a problem with it...

Oh... fan seldom came on in the rain, too!

It's how I got my nickname. Just got rained on today, with only three clouds in the sky.

It has been raining on me so much, the girl at Taco Bell asked me if I only ride in the rain.

Ok, I just rode in the worst storm I ever rode in and was forced to turn around when I realized my bike was better prepared for the rain then I was. I will prepare tomorrow.

If it wasn't for rainy days my bike would be dirty all year round.

I actually really enjoy riding in the rain.

I just don't like parking my bike out in the rain.

I'm just weird like that : )

You don't just get the name BadWeatherBiker, you earn it! ; )
I have noticed something- when it is nice and sunny out there, all the bikes are out. 1 cloud in the sky- the Ducati guys go home. 2 clouds in the sky- the sportbike guys go home. Dark cloudy sky- the harley guys start scratching their beards and head home. When it is about to start raining- the BMW guys gather their gear and head out. I do the same : D
