Need to get a cheap header that has no dents or find someone that would be willing to give me their header so I can get it powder coated. Once powder coated I am going to have my dealer swap it out with my stock one when it is serviced in a few weeks. After I get my stock header back I would send you back my header plus some money. Can anyone help? Thanks

I thought you couldn't powdercoat the header because of the heat?

American sport bike will just send you a header that is hot jet coated. Then you send yours to them when you get it off the bike. They do it all the time.

High temp powders are available for the headers but I'm not sure you will find a coater that will guarantee the work on them. Although some of the powders are rated to 1000 degrees there is still a chance that it will crack, peel or bubble.

Try and go with ceramic if at all possible.
