I'd be very leary of that Buellster Parts deal . . . those guys typically don't stock the parts they buy used stock or from dealers and resell.

I'd bet most dealers would have primary covers in stock . . . have you tried the sponsor section?

and i should say they allegedly have one.
however, a used part from a wreck that is undamaged i see no issue with.
it is the exact same part.
and yeah blah blah about warranty etc.

Looks like several parts on that Buellster place are listed for more than new.

25521-02 PRIMARY COVER, BLACK Retail Price:$220.00

At $145 that seems a bit high, I would pay that for a non scuffed one.

$275 for a Race ECM? Forget that!

$220 is about the same price as when I checked prices and availability and decided to fix mine permanently instead.
