Trying to find a wheel stand/stands and spools to remove the front and rear tire off of my XB12Ss. Having a hard time finding anything like spools and stands that would fit my bike. I like to take off my own wheels and take just the wheel to the shop for new rubber. Wondering what other Bueller's do to get their wheels off. Any advice or links to systems would be great.

Just get a swingarm stand. I have one and it's solid as a rock.

Dark horse motors for the spools and I think they sell stands to.

Get a set of Pit Bull stands from American Sport Bike. If you want spools, get the DHM sliders, but you wouldn't be able to remove the wheel with them on so it would be pointless unless you have two stands.

Thanks for the tips. I think the price of the stand would pay for itself the first time the dealer wanted to charge me taking off the wheel to put on a new tire.

Neil,

We recommend the Pit Bull SS Combo stand as it has forks that interface with spool sliders and it has the swingarm pads that will allow the removal of the rear wheel:

They are available from many of BadWeB's sponsors.

Thanks Skully for the info. Still not sure where I can mount spools on the XB12Ss but you've got me heading in the right direction. I'll check out the site. Thanks again.
One Happy Bueller
