Hi Guys! I'm asking you guys in here if you can help me out with following seat issue. If you have been lurking in the 1125 forum you will know that i have converted my 1125 tail section to the beautiful one of the XB-S. See picture. I bought a complete S tail section on e-bay and want to replace the abused seat i bought. So my questions are: #1: Is this a low seat? #2: Will the seat of an SCG fit the S tail? anders  | ||

Is that seat 'textured'? Doesn't look it. That is a regular S seat - probably an 03 (maybe 04) since it's not textured. The low seat is really scalloped pretty deep. And yes, it will fit.  XB12SCG  XB12S} | ||

i would love the textured seat! But mine isnt. The scg seat you're showing is very low i supposed that is the low seat?. And the S picture you're showing is a regular S seat.... like mine right? But thescw seat doesnt look textured and it looks like the same bike? i'm confused? I would love to get the newest seat possible like a 09 or something to get the latest material. | ||

i think it looks like you already have scg(low) seat. It's usually marked at the bottom of the seat! Can you please tell more about how you convert the tail. I'm looking to change my xb12scg for cr and do the same convert as you, and of course with "free spirits" body kit  | ||

SCG = Low Yours is an S seat - same as the pic above. The only differences you'll find that is that older seats (03-04?) were smooth. Textured seats came around in either 04 or 05. Check the classified section, you'll find a textured seat. I've bought two now for both of my bikes. Think I paid $30 for one and $40 for the other...sold my SCG seat for $40 as well. | ||

Hey Believer Check my thread about the conversion In the 1125 section. Its called "Lightning S tail on my CR!". I'm still adding pictures... since its not completely done yet. Waiting to get the parts back from paint. | ||

thank you Chippy but its NOT the scg since that is too low. if you see the pic i posted of my bike i need a similar shape asthat and people say it NOT an scg seat since scg is way lower. so i need an seat thats IS textured and '09 looking and NOT as low as the scg posted above by 1324. | ||

See what i found here. Looks like i need to order a 2010 XB9SX seat. Can someone confirm if that seat will fit an older S frame?  | ||

That will fit... FWIW, there is a seat for sale in the classifieds right now. I think they are asking $75 for it. |
