Here's the deal: I've got a an 03 XB9S with the race ECM and K&N Filter and now has a stock pipe that has been completely gutted. thing is, I want to baffle down the pipe a little. Im pretty good with cutting and welding and such so is there any way or methods that i can re-insert some baffling into the pipe to make is sound more like the race exhaust. I considered running one ported tube through the can and packing it like a two-stroke dirtbike pipe. any comments or ideas about that? I would appreciate any thoughts or advice that any of you have to offer. im going into this blind so be generous. | ||

Get a race pipe or maybe a drummer  . Seriously though, I'd look at the instructions for making a Drummer, Special Op, Voodoo etc... (Voodoo I believe has info for a DIY pipe) and go from there. | ||

problem solved, the race pipe that i traded for the gutted stocker from an 09XB12 didn't fit on the 12 so i got my race pipe back and i'll just live with it for now. i dont really want to hack it up for experimental purposes. how difficult/costly is it to lay my hands on a stocker for an 03 XB9S. condition is really an issue since im gonna be cutting it up anyway. | ||
