Author Message   Iamarchangel Posted on Sunday, September 20, 2009 - 10:04 pm:        Thought I'd check out the kickstand on '03 9R, seeing as the subject kept coming up. The pivot bolt/pin seems fine but the whole assembly seems to move. It doesn't seem to be loose but the whole piece does move. How much play does yours have?   Rsh Posted on Sunday, September 20, 2009 - 11:16 pm:        Did you check the hardware that connects the kick stand assembly to the case? IIRC they have 11mm heads, mine came loose once, that caused a lot of play. I recently replaced my pivot bolt because the old one had broken, when I did I noticed that the yolk section of the stand had spread open, I put it in a vice and closed it up. I have about 3/16" to 1/4" of play now.
