Hello all. I picked up a stock 2006 XB12R Firebolt for a second racebike . But while im gathering parts and looking into shops do do the change over . We have been riding the stock bike around with buddies. they own Suzuki GSXR1000 , ZX10 and a ZX14 . Like most of us they are bike whores and wanted to take the XB12 out on a 2-3 mile of very twisty road in the nearby area . All three of my buddies came back with nothing but praise for the handling of the bike and where surprised at the amount of USEABLE power . Rides as of late have turned into a musical chairs routine . But as a side note the GSXR1000 is a very easy bike to go fast on compared to the ZX10 and moreso the zx14 of course . jake

I forgot how nice it was to ride a stock XB12R myself . I worked my bike so hot it made it hard to ride with all the abrupt power and engine braking of all the torque. Im trading in my zx10 for a zx14 for the size differance . 9 im 6-4 250 son 6-8 280) ..., Paint im taking the whole bike(2006 firebolt) to Cyclerama in Florida . 88kit +4-5 stroker kit 729 cams !! =1684cc. We can take it to your local track and you can run it for a few laps ., if cyclerama says its safe to hit the dyno . can you post the numbers up here for me ? Jake ( i cant shrink photos down to put up on site )

Dragon they are good guys and good riders . the XB is like a rider tester ... if someone rides an XB and they come back thinking the bike handles badly . They usually just dont have the reflexes or the experiance to ride a bike with a race set up .

I do bike swaps with my buddies quite often too. It helps me confirm that I have the best bike and its not all in my head.

Nothing against my Buell I love it to death and it may have more usable power then a 600 but those liter bikes have insane amounts of torque... even wayyyyy down low.
