Have had the parts slowly coming in and finally had the time to put it all together.

Parts:
-R top triple and handlebars
-R fairing
-R headlights
-Fairing stay

Problems:
-Thought about leaving the stock s bars till i had new grips...and thought i had to get new R throttle and idle cable.
-The S throttle cables work just fine
-If you do use the stock S bars the windscreen needs to be trimmed.
-The S brake line will not allow you to turn bars to full lock. It is necessary to get the R brake line... $20 no biggy.
-I have not yet gotten an R ignition switch...this is necessary also, the S ignition is too long to even mock up an adapting braket.
-The headlight wiring on the R is a female connection...the wire in the harness on the S is also a female connection. Had to cut and spice the male connection from the S headlights.

Looks good. Im a big fan of the bolt front with an s tail. Please post any snags you ran into. Im planning an 1125r front clip swap over the winter. I hope it looks as nice as yours. I know its not exactly the same but still good to know.

Zorton...it is a seat cowl.

The only snags i had was not having the R ignition switch...still using my S right now so i am unable to lock the forks. Also i had to rewire the headlights as stated in the first post.

Is that the screen out of the cheesegrater on your final drive cover? That's pretty cool. What a way to re-use stuff

Or you can use the Zero Gravity touring screen.

Maybe if you use the R top triple clamp. But using the S bars, a simple square plate with 4 holes in it is all that is needed.

Ha yeah I get the seat cowl part should of been more specific I guess. I have never seen one that style unless you modified the one i have seen on asb. Where did you find it at? I haven't though of doing the full conversion like you did to the r but have thought about the clip ons like that. Do they feel good with the seating position of the s seat?

That seat cowl looks really nice! Better fit then most...

Is it just the design or is it an X and shows part of the seat in the rear? Hard to tell.

Been wanting a cowl for the solo look but all the ones I have seen dont look clean at all.

what you see that you think is the carbon fiber...same pattern as the seat material it seems. i just painted the center sections black.

I like the look of the windscreen being cut down. Looks sharp. I'd personally leave it.
