A few weeks ago I had a little kid on an ATV come out into the road and hit me right in the right side. Caused me to high side the bike and threw me off. Wasn't wearing my riding gear cause I was just running to the store from a BBQ my friend was having so no jacket or helmet. Some pretty bad road rash but worse is the fracture in my shoulder and broke both of the bones in between my knee and ankle (Tib + Fib). I'll be out of commission for a while but I should make it out to snowboard this winter and I'll have my baby ready to ride the first nice day of next year.

Biggest lesson - Always wear your riding gear!!! It would have only saved me the road rash but it was totally unnecessary.

Wow...Hopefully his parents are paying for the damages? I would have rung the kids neck. Thank God your good for the most part...could have been much worse if you know what I mean...

I'll be able to ride again so I'm happy. Also I get to upgrade as a replace broken pieces. Trying to decide on what rearset to get...

Glad your gonna be ok Brom. I put a set of Rizoma rearsets on my xb, they fit perfectly, and shift better.
