When coming to a stoplight after passing below 30mph the front brakes make that high pitched squeaking sound all the way to stop. How do I make it quit?
I'm about 1000 miles into this set of pads (Lyndall Golds), so there's plenty of pad thickness left.
Re-used that really thin sheet metal backing plate with all the holes in it when I installed the pads.

Sounds like you just need to wash your rotor REAL good and get whatever brake dust that is there off

You could try chamfering the leading edge of your brake pads.
