05 12R. Yesterday, I had my airbox off (upper and lower), had my manual out, and noticed something did'nt match the photo of the O2 sensor wire. MY O2 wire connected with the harness at a sharp 90 deg. angle. I could also see the sharp edge of the heat deflecting wire loom REALLY close to the wire. I peeled back the loom, and rewrapped the wire with electrical tape where it was done at the factory. I also slid the connector down the harness a little to partially straighten the 90 deg. bend a little. If I would have let it go, I could see an O2 failure in my near future. I'm not bitchin'. I'm just putting this out there, so other fellow Buellers can check theirs. Peace Y'all.

I have the crappiest-looking snarl of tin-foil wrapped wire sort of sitting haphazardly in there below the airbox going from the harness to the O2 sensor connector. The BadWeb PO never had any problems on the bike ('06 Ss), so it couldn't have been sloppy/bad maintenance/repair. It just doesn't look clean. I don't know when I will have my airbox off again, but when I do, I'll have to take a picture for comparison.
