hello Buell guru's and knowledge experts(definition of expert"Drip under pressure")Aussie humour don't worry if you don't get it!
Who is using HID headlights, and if so who is using what brand, and can you give me links to suppliers, down here there is very little, actually no-one who is selling or playing with H.I.D headlights for bikes,I see there are always some for sale on Ebay, and they are mostly out of the States, with conversion to an Aussie dollar I reckon I'll pay about the 200 to 250 bucks Aussie, but before I commit to buy,I'd like some advice of who is using what over there, and finally if using Hi & lo,what if any is the time delay from switching from one to the other?or are people only using a single high beam unit?Oh and I suppose one other thing are they as plug & play as they say??
Cheers Phil

Anyway, I use the kit from DDM tuning. Nice and slim ballasts, and there is an option for a brighter 55w setup instead of the 35w like most cheap HID kits.

I see the price has come down a bit since I bought mine last fall.

Plug and play. Remove flyscreen, remove headlight assembly, disconnect. Remove grommets from back of headlamp, you will need to cut a small hole in them for the wires. Remove bulbs from headlamp, feed HID lamps through the grommet hole and install in assembly. Connect ballasts, hide them somewhere under flyscreen, reassemble, and blind people in broad daylight : D

Its optional but recommended, get a relay/wiring harness for it, it prevents the stock wiring from being overloaded and potentially melting.
