I have a 06 Uly with 24k on the clock. I wonder, is there any reason to replace the wheel barrings before I get 30k on the clock? The barrings are the original, orange, barrings and they show no weathering, rust or any kind of wobble. Also the belt is stone stock and it also shows no wear.
I know a bit of prevention goes a long way but if all is well and the bike is 6k away from the major drive overhaul why do it - have AMA towing and a Spot locator - LOL

Next time you take the wheel off, swap the bearings and the belt. Fold up your old belt and keep it handy as a spare, so you can replace a broken one road side. (Worn belts are stretched and go on easier than a new one). Bearings are cheap, better to fork over something like $50 to get them now rather that dealing with the frustration of being stranded, possibly with a damaged wheel and swingarm.
