Should be OK if the vibration is only subtle. I wouldn't put more than 150 miles on. My worries would be on the tire more than anything else.

Keep her slow, check the pressure often.

How bad a bend? I did about 5000 miles with a slightly bent lip, still haven't taken care of it.

It may not be necessary to buy a new rim.

Lots of specialists now a days repair and rebalance wheels, cost can be half of buying a new wheel.

Here is one such company, there are many others.

NextCorner, Thanks for the reply Was wondering what ya mean by concerns for the tire it only has like 250 miles on it now?

Froggy, Its the lip thats bent on both side directly across from one another, Still holds air well and seems Solid, one side of it is bent a tad more than the other... Good to hear you have been putting a few miles on it with no worries, mine may be bent more than yours though... Do you feel any vibrations at all on yours?

Gentlman_jon, YEah have given that some thought, there may be someone around my neck of the woods that do car alum. rims up here in Canada I may check that out as well.. New Rims are just too damn much Coin...

Anyone else have experience riding with a Rear bent rim? I would think being the rear would be a bit better than say having a Front rim Bent,as far as Vibrations are concern , Although don`t know that for sure either.. GUess more concern if the damn thing may pop or lose air all of a sudden while riding...

I know its hard for you guys to say for sure not knowing just how bad the bent lips are...One goes maybe for 3 or 4 inches in length , the other side not as bad

I have just a small bend in my rim, maby 1/2 inch long and 1/8in bend in the lip on one side, If yours is 3-4 inches long, no freaking way i would ride it.
