That loud fuel pump/buzzer/engine diagnostic sensor or whatever it is that comes on prior to the bike starting is what I am concerned about. The noise it makes now is very faint The bike seems to start fine and has a new battery. That faintness in the sound prompted me to think it was the battery. Any ideas. Is this mechanism going out? How long can I ride the bike like that? | ||

It is your fuel pump. Some are loud, some are quiet, its perfectly normal. If its making funny sounds, get it checked out. | ||

It used to be loud, but now the sound is faint. Like the battery is weak, but I have a new battery in it now and still sounds no stronger or louder. | ||

It will be faint [not loud] when your tank is full. When your tank is nearing empty, you'll notice it is louder again... | ||
