Hi Chris, welcome to the board and the Buell family! You're going to like the Scg it is mean and low for sure! I bought one for my wife and I ride it more than she does now, of course she is pregnant, and has been banned from riding until February.

Take your time to read up and study, use the search function and you can expose a wealth of knowledge...

My son Stehpen just bought a 09 XB9sx in translucent blue. He going to get his license on monday we have been riding around and he is doing really will it is his first motorcycle and he love it .

ok, so here are some pictures and a story...

There is a crack on the translucent air box cover! And some white spots on the windscreen too so the dealer ordered replacements for both.

Jardine exhaust, and boy does it pops! The dealer said that's normal, unless dyno and re-map the ECM but would void the warranty.

16.85 pounds for the OEM exhaust.

That's not a crack all of the translucent air boxes look like that, it's just the way it was molded.

You sure that's not a crack? I had a translucent blue cover on my bike, and I don't remember cracks in it. It looks like there's some chipping on the crack.
But anyway, if it is cracked, it can be easily replaced. Look on eBay for cheaper, used ones.
