If you have no intention of riding in the dirt (other than maintained fire roads), the XT is in my opinion far better than than the Uly. Stiffer suspension, triple rate fork springs for asphalt surfing. A little lower which is nice when you have a passenger on board.

If you plan on going in the rough stuff, the Uly is in my opinion far better than the XT.
Longer travel suspension for soaking up the bumps & ruts. More ground clearance.

Both bikes are as Froggy put it; 'freaking awesome'

Thanks I will test ride one asap I will mostly stay on tarmac ocassionally I will pop on a fire road not a ton of em left in NJ though but a few. I just like the idea more and more lately and after riding the Uly that seating position and comanding view of your imediate surroundings all around just SPOT ON. I hope the XT seats or sits as well but we will see

i would not hesistate to run that SS/TT down some dirty fireroads, through the mud, into puddles, over some whoops and try some berms for good nature; hell it has more clearance than my CityX
