Sorry to seam like i am beating a dead horse but i just want to make sure my bike is running right. After changing the pipe on my bike (pics on there way) I thought maybe my bike was idling higher than it used to. It now idles at ~1000 RPM is that were is should idle, i read on here that someone said 1050 rpm, i thought it used to idle lower than that? Thankx for your help everyone just want to be safe and not sorry. |

~1050 is correct. I have heard many people who have idles a little lower than that complain of a stumble when taking off from idle. I think it caused me to drop my bike once at very low speed in a parking lot. |

Got mine set at 9-950'ish as 1050 seems abit high to my sensitive ear, especially when starting the bike on a cold morning and hearing it "revving" away. Sometimes the bike does bog-down on pulling way, but i've learn't to compensate. |

The manual calls for 1050-1150. Those of us having the off idle stumble found setting it at 1100 got rid of it. |
