The nuts I have (on the rack anyway) have the locking nuts. Nylock I think they call them.

Ya, I thought a Benji for the case and mounting plate was a good price. The $25 for shipping was a little high, but I was happy with the whole deal.

Those are the stock CityX bars.

They do feel like motobars though.

The Ventura system is not strong enough to be used as a backrest. It's stated in their ad.

If you have one you can see it's made out of tubing. You would want a backrest support made from solid round stock.
