K, I've got 3 EEPROMs too try. 2 loaded, then wouldn't burn. something about incompatible...
1 burned, but runs like crap. Tried to go back to stock, now I get "failed to get firmware version" "exiting now"
Do I need to reset the tps after I burn? maybe that's why it runs so bad?
While I'm at it, what's the correct procedure for connecting the cable and opening ecmspy?

Ok, forgot to flip switch back to "run". That solved "firmware version" error.
Still getting "EEProm Data is not compatible to ecm!" Guess I need to print out the maps and change variables manually???

You cannot insert the Race EPROM into a standard ECU. The memory is arranged differently. If the engine does start it will not run right and the cooling fan runs with a cold engine temp.
