tuesday night i had my drive belt snap on my '04 xb9s. i spent the better part of wednesday morning trying to find anyone local who could even find the drive belt part # since they all seemed to believe they aren't being made since they are in the middle of a revision? what a hassle... i was even told by one harley dealership to call asb! i should have just saved myself some headache and called asb first!

called al and requested 2 day UPS shipping to canada for a new belt. I HAD IT THE NEXT MORNING!!! and no brokerage fee! and the belt was $100 cheaper than what i could find local who could only provide it in 2 weeks.

just want to express my appreciation to al and joanne for really helping me out. their customer service is top notch!

thanks again, aaron weir

+1
I was changing my spark plugs on a Wed. before a NEBO ride on a Sunday. I pulled too hard and pulled the wire right out of the connector. I called every dealer within 200 miles, no one had it.

I called American Sport Bike and Al had just installed his only set on his bike and had ordered a new set for his stock. Al pulled the part off his bike and sent it out that day.

I can't say enough how far customer service goes for the average consumer.

HD should step up and adopt a CS friendly attitude.

Rocky's in London, down the road an hour and a half, is pretty Buell friendly. Several Buell owners on staff, in parts and service. Something to keep in mind.

No broker fees, how'd you manage that?

Good find, could have made for a very interesting ride. How many miles on them there bearings?

As for American Sport Bike good people even though they forgot my last order, e-mail month or so later asking if I still need the part. Will still order from again but maybe I'll call next time.

Thanks, all! Very much appreciate the good words - y'all just made my Monday!

Rich, not sure what happened with your order, my apologies. We try to get our backordered parts out the same day they come in, and the process is somewhat automatic. But something must have gone wrong with your order. Please don't hesitate to call us in the future!

best regards,

Joanne

just my $.02 -- al and joanne are great people and American Sport Bike is one terrific buell resource. i can't recommend American Sport Bike highly enough, and it's always a pleasure, and education to speak with al.

just ordered a front disk & pads, and true to form, before i'd hung up with al the ups guy was knocking at my door with the package.

I just ordered some stuff from them today. My clutch cable self destructed so I bought a new one and some other goodies I had been needing. Al quickly e-mailed me back to make sure I had all my I's dotted and T's crossed so to speak and even gave me his time over the phone for technical questions.

Service like that is something you dont get that often.

Been that day since the day they went in business . . . they are worth going out of your way to deal with.

They remain amazing.

Here's a good one.

I ordered a speed sensor for my bike and a seat retention kit for my friends 1125R.

I did it online. Two, maybe three minutes after I hit 'submit' on the online order form the phone rings.

It was Al calling to make sure I was ordering the correct parts because I have my bike listed (05 12Scg) but nothing about an 1125R.

That was unexpected and so very, very cool.

If there was a Buell like award deal for aftermarket shops, Al & Joanne would win year after year.

..and this year's Above and Beyond award goes to....*drumroll*.....American Sportbike!...*thunderous applause*....

Every order I have made from American Sport Bike has been handled great. Fast, Accurate, Knowledgeable, and (something many vendors forget) grateful for your business.
