Been riding a while now after changing the primary oil and adjusting the primary tension in an effort to fix my gear sticking problem.

I have noticed the time it really sticks is when I get on it hard and shift to second, and then hard again and shift to third...it wont budge. I then have to slow down to 1st gear speeds and it will loosen up and I am able to shift out.

Any ideas what this is from? It just recently started in the past 2 weeks giving me trouble.

It also sometimes false shifts into neutral in the 2nd to 3rd shift as well.

I think the problem may be caused by the position of the shift shaft lever.
I noticed in your profile photo the shift shaft lever is tilted down at an angle. It should be parallel to the ground.

Check this link for how it should be adjusted. See left side view...

I agree with Teeps, in fact I recently broke a shifter pivot thing because of a bad angle.

Careful not to scuff up those leathers on your shift lever.

I have the lever mounted GP style right now(in front of the shift shaft). If it is supposed to be parallel to ground then that must be it. I'll change it back and report back.

It was fun while it lasted...
